MARVIN HAMLISCH | 1944-2012
Pulitzer Prize-winning composer for stage and screen Marvin Hamlisch died died in Los Angeles on Monday after a brief illness, aged 68. Hamlisch won three Oscars, for his work on The Way We Were and The Sting, in addition to Grammys, Emmys, and Tonys. In 1976, Hamlisch was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his musical, A Chorus Line.
